Step 1
Sift 3 1/3 c all purpose flour, 1/2 tsp baking powder and 1 tsp salt onto wax paper. Combine 2 room temperature sticks (1 c) butter, 1 c sugar, 1/2 c packed brown sugar and beat with mixer. Beat in 2 eggs and 1 tsp vanilla. Then gradually add floud mixture and beat until evenly blended. Dough can be wrapped in plastic wrap and refigerated up to 3 days. Makes about 4 c dough.
