Ingredients
- 2 cup pecans
- 36 pecan halves
- 1 cup light brown sugar; packed
- pinch Salt
- 1 white of egg; unbeaten
- 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
Details
Preparation
Step 1
Combine two cups pecans and 2 tablespoons brown sugar in a food processor
until fine.
Place mixture, rest of sugar, and salt in a bowl. Add unbeaten egg white
and lemon juice and stir until combined.
Drop rounded teaspoonfuls on cookie sheets covered with parchment paper,
1-1/2 inches apart. Press pecan half in center of each.
Bake at 375°F in center of oven until lightly brown.
