- 3 Extra Large Egg Whites
- 1 Cup Granulated Sugar
- 2 Tsp. Cocoa
- 1/3 cup Chocolate Chips
- 2/3 cup Chopped Walnuts

Step 1
Preheat oven to 200 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a medium bowl with a hand mixer, beat egg whites into stiff peaks, about 4 minutes. With mixter on high, gradually add sugar. Once all sugar has been added, continue beating for 2 minutes.
Sift cocoa on top of egg whites (do not blend yet), Add chocolate chips and nuts and gently fold them into the beaten egg whites. DO NOT FOLD COCOA COMPLETELY into meringues.
Using a 2 tablespoon scoop, drop mixture onto prepared baking sheet. Bake 45 minutes or until you can slide meringues off parchment using a spatula. Do not attempt tp ick up meringues at this stage. They are very fragile.
Cool on wire baking wheet and store in an airtight container.
