Ingredients

  • 4 cups Rice Krispies
  • 2 cups toasted sweetened coconut
  • 1 cup toasted almonds
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2/3 cup unsalted melted butter
  • 2 quarts vanilla ice cream, slightly softened

Preparation

Step 1

Mix together cereal, toasted almonds, brown sugar and butter. Press half of mixture into bottom of 13-by-9-inch pan and chill slightly. Spoon softened ice cream over chilled crust and spread evenly. Top with remaining crumb mixture. Cover and freeze overnight.

To serve cut into eight equal squares and then cut each square diagonally into triangles. Drizzle caramel or chocolate sauce over top, if desired.
