Cakes: Strawberry Shortcake

Ingredients

• 3 1/2 cup Bisquick Original baking mix
• 3/4 cup milk
• 4 1/2 T sugar
• 4 1/2 T melted butter

Preparation

Step 1

Heat oven to 425 degrees.
Stir til soft dough forms.
Spread in ungreased 9" round (pat down).
Bake 15-20 minutes til golden grown, cool slightly.
Fill and top with strawberries.
Drop shortcakes; drop dough by 6 spoonfuls onto un-greased cookie sheet.
Bake 10-12 minutes or til golden brown.
Heat oven tp 450 degrees.
After cake cools, slice through and remove top half. Spoon strawberries on bottom half then invert to half and top with sugared strawberries.
