Ingredients

  • MARINADE:
  • 1.5 to 2 lbs. lean flank or skirt steak or 6 chicken breasts, boned and skinned
  • 1/4 vegetable oil
  • 2 T. lemon juice
  • 2 T. soy sauce
  • 2 T. green onion, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp. black pepper, coarsely ground
  • 1 tsp. celery salt
  • 1 tsp. jalapeno juice(optional)

Preparation

Step 1

Combine all marinade ingredients and mix well. Remove any fat from steak and wipe well with paper towels. Place steak and marinade in shallow dish. Marinate at room temperature for at least 6 hours, turning frequently. Drain liquid. Broil over hot coals. Cut steak diangonally.
