Ingredients

  • 1 cup raw nuts
  • 3 cups spring or purified water
  • 1 tsp cinnamon or nutmeg (optional)
  • 1 tsp raw honey or 2 dates (optional)
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla (optional)

Preparation

Step 1

Soak the almonds in water overnight. (There are times I skip this step if I forget to do so the night before or if I am in a hurry.) In a food processor grind the nuts, then add the rest of the ingredients and blend until smooth. To strain the milk run it through a cheesecloth, I prefer not to as it saves me time and I don’t mind the pulp.
