Ingredients
- C each:
- 1 C chopped potatoes
- chopped carrots
- chopped celery
- chopped onions
- chopped green pepper
- 4 Tbsp butter
- 3 C chicken broth
- dash white pepper
- 2 C milk
- 1/2 C flour
- 3 C Shredded or cubed American cheese
- 1 Tbsp parsley

Preparation
Step 1
Cook vegetables in butter until tender in a large pot. Add chicken broth and pepper. Cover and simmer 30 min. Blend flour into milk. Add to chowder w/ cheese and parsley.
Cook and stir until cheese melts and soup thickens. Serve w/ salad and hot crusty bread!
