Ingredients

  • Double the ingredients below
  • 1/2 cup of butter
  • 1/4 cup of sifted confectioners sugar
  • 1 cup sifted all purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp. cornstrach
  • 2 tbsp. granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup of orange juice
  • 1/2 cup of currant jelly-red
  • 5 cups of sliced peaches or #2 21/2 cabs sliced
  • peaches, well drained

Preparation

Step 1

Crust:
Cream together butter and sugar. Blend in alour to make a soft dough. Pat evenly on bottom and sides of a 12" pizza pie pan (ungreased). Prick well with a fork. Bake at 350 for 15 to 20 minutes.

Filling:
Mix Cornstarch, granulated sugar. Stir in orange juice; add jelly. Cook and stir till mixture thickns and boils. Cook 2 minutes more. Arrange peaches in a wheel fashion in a single layer on cooled shell. Spoon glaze over the peaches. Chill for one day. Trim with whipped cream.
