Ingredients
- 6 quarts popped corn (enough to fill large roaster)
- 2 cups brown sugar
- 1 cup butter
- 1/2 cup dark or light corn syrup
- 1/2 teaspoon salt

Step 1
Bring the ingredients to a boil. Boil without stirring for 5 minutes (heat on low).
Quickly stir in ½ teaspoon soda (mixture will foam up, stir quickly).
Pour over popped corn; stir. Bake uncovered in a 250 degree oven for one hour total. Stir every 15 minutes. Lay out on waxed paper to cool.
