Ingredients

  • Cream:
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • Mix in:
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 cups sifted flour
  • 3/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/3 cup sour cream
  • 1-3/4 cup salted cashew nuts
  • FROSTING:
  • 1/2 cup margarine
  • 3 tablespoons half and half
  • 1/4 tablespoon vanilla
  • 2 cups sifted powdered sugar

Preparation

Step 1

Drop cookie dough by teaspoons or larger.

Bake in a 400 degree oven for 10 minutes.

Cool and top with frosting.

For frosting, lightly brown margarine. Remove from heat and add cream and vanilla.

Stir in powdered sugar and beat until smooth and thick enough to spread on top of cookies. Top with a cashew nut.
