Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups (12 fl oz) evaporated milk
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 4 slightly beaten egg yolks
  • 3/4 cup butter or margarine
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 2 cups Baker's angel flake coconut
  • 1 1/2 cups chopped pecans

Preparation

Step 1

-Combine all ingredients except nuts and coconut into a saucepan
-Cook and stir over medium heat until thickened
-Remove from heat
-Stir in coconut and pecans
-Cool until thick enough to spread
