Pickled Carrots

Ingredients

  • 9 cups of water
  • 6 cups vinegar
  • 1/2 cup pickling salt
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • This is the brine. Add all together and bring to a rolling boil. To be poured into jars.

Preparation

Step 1

In each pint jar, add 2 tsp mustard seed, garlic cloves and dill and add in cleaned baby carrots from the garden. Pour the hot brine over top and seal with lid.

I let stand to about 2 weeks before tasting and enjoying.
