Italian Sausage Stuffed Mushrooms

Ingredients
- 20 large mushrooms
- 1/2 lb bulk Italian sausage
- 1/2 cup onion, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 large egg
- 1/4 cup parmesan cheese, plus
- parmesan cheese, to garnish

Preparation
Step 1
1 Preheat oven to 350.
2 Remove stems from mushrooms and chop.
3 Brown the sausage, onion, garlic and chopped stems in olive oil, drain well.
4 Allow mixture to cool. 5 Combine breadcrumbs, Parmesan and egg and add to cooled mixture. 6 Stuff mixture into mushroom caps and bake 15-20 minutes.
7 Remove from oven and sprinkle with reserved Parmesan.
