1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 cup skim evaporated milk
1/2 tsp vanilla

Step 1

Put all 4 ingredients into saucepan. Heat on medium, stirring often, until melted and simmering. Reduce heat. Simmer, whisking constantly for about 20 minutes until smooth and thickened.
