Ingredients

  • 3 cups water
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup crisco
  • 1 stick butter
  • 2 tablespoons-1/4 cup sugar
  • 4 cups instant potato flakes
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 3 cups flour

Preparation

Step 1

1. Mix water, milk and salt; heat in microwave 10
minutes, check often so it doesn't boil over

2. Dissolve crisco, butter and sugar in hot water mix

3. Add the potato flakes and baking powder

4. Chill overnight

5. Add flour; chill

6. Use 1/4 cup for each round; cook
