Ingredients

  • 4 C powdered milk
  • 8 C lukewarm water
  • 1/2 cake rennet
  • 1/2 C flour
  • 3 eggs beaten
  • 1/2 C cream
  • 1 C sugar
  • pinch salt

Preparation

Step 1

Dissolve the rennet in 2 T cold water.
Mix flour into 1/2 C cold water. Add rennet first to milk and then flour mixture. Let stand till curds are formed. Stir carefully and remove whey. Beat eggs and add cream, sugar and salt. Mix all together and bake at 350 deg for 1 1/2 hours or till set. Serve with lingonberry sauce.

Directions are not clear but I think to add water to powdered milk, heat to luke warm and then add flour, mixing well. Then add rennet and stir well . Let stand till curds are formed. Stir carefully and remove whey. Beat eggs and add cream, sugar and salt . Mix all together and bake at 350 deg for 1 l/2 hrs or till set.
Serve with lingonberry sauce.
