Ingredients

  • 1 pound fresh whole-milk ricotta cheese
  • 2 tablespoons Pecorino Romano cheese
  • 2 tablespoons fresh chives, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons fresh oregano, chopped
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons walnut oil
  • toasted walnuts (optional)
  • crostini or grilled bread

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 300. Lightly oil an ovenproof dish large enough to hold mixture. Mix cheeses, herbs, salt and pepper with fork until smooth. Drizzle with walnut oil and bake about 15 minutes. Sprinkle with toasted walnuts (optional) and serve hot with prepared bread
