Ingredients
- Parchment paper
- 4 Tbsp. corn syrup
- 4 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/4 tea. Worchestershire sauce
- 1/4 tea. cayenne pepper
- 1/4 tea. Chinese five-spice powder
- 1/8 tea. cumin
- Up to 1 Tbsp. freshly squeezed orange jui8ce
- 2 cups extra fancy mixed nuts

Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a cookie sheet with greased parchment paper.
In a bowl, combine corn syrup, sugar, worcestershire sauce, cayenne, five-spice powder, cumin and enough orange juice to blend; the mixture will be thick. Add nuts, mixing gently to coat.
Spread the nuts on the prepared cookie sheet.
Bake for 5 minutes, then stir to coat. Bake 10 minutes longer or until bubbly.
Immediately turn the nuts onto sheet of parchment paper, as the coating hardens quickly. Keep turning and separating until the nuts no longer stick to the parchment or each other. The nuts should be cooled individually, not clumped together.
