  • 1-1 1/2 lbs. round steak
  • 1 onion
  • 2 C. sliced mushrooms
  • 1 (10 oz.) can French onion soup
  • 1 (6 oz.) pkg. herb stuffing mix
  • 1/2 C. butter, melted

Cut beef into 5-6 serving-size pieces. Slice onion and separate into rings. In oblong slow cooker, place steak pieces and top with mushrooms and onions. Pour soup over ingredients in cooker. Cover and cook on low for 7-9 hours.

Just before serving, combine stuffing mix, seasoning packet, butter, 1/2 cup liquid from the cooker and toss to mix. Place stuffing mixture on top of steak and increase the heat to high. Cover and cook 15 more minutes, until stuffing is fluffy.
