IRENE’S PUMPKIN PIE

Aunt Irene always made these pies every Thanksgiving. Since she died, I now make these pies. This is a great creamy recipe, especially when topped with fresh homemade whipping cream.

Ingredients
- 1-1/2 cups pumpkin (canned okay)
- 2/3 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ginger
- Salt
- 2 beaten eggs
- 1/2 cup cream (not half ‘n half)
- 1/2 cup milk

Preparation
Step 1
Mix and put above ingredients into unbaked pie shell.
Bake in a 450 degree oven for 10 minutes.
Then bake in a 350 degree oven for 40-45 minutes until knife in middle comes out clean.
