I got this recipe from Connie, a lady who worked for MedScribe of MN.

This is a great bread to wrap up and give for gifts. I make them into little individual breads for Christmas to give out. They are always a welcome gift.

Ingredients

  • GLAZE:
  • 2-1/4 cup white sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1-1/8 cup oil
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1-1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1-1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1-1/2 cup milk
  • 1-1/2 tablespoon poppy seeds
  • 1-1/2 teaspoon almond flavor
  • 1-1/2 teaspoon butter
  • 1-1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 3/4 cup white sugar
  • 1/4 cup orange juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon almond flavoring
  • 1/2 teaspoon butter flavoring
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

Cream together. Spray and grease 6 baby loaf pans and pour batter into equally. Bake in 350 degree oven for 40 to 45 minutes.

While bread is warm, top with glaze.
