Ingredients

  • Unbaked 9 “ pie shell
  • 1/2 cup margarine
  • 3/4 cup white corn syrup
  • 1/4 cup maple flavour syrup
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 3 eggs slightly beaten
  • 2 cups pecans. Chop 1 cup to put in with pie mixture. Decorate top of pie with other cup of 1/2 pecans.

Step 1


Cream margarine well.
Add sugar slowly, beating until light.
Slowly stir in syrups, eggs and vanilla and 1 cup chopped nuts.
Pour into pie shell and top with rest of nuts
Bake at 450 for 10 minutes, then reduce to 325 for 35 min. or until knife comes out clean.

Cool. Serve in small pieces with whip cream.
