Ingredients
- 1 3/4 C. White Karo syrup
- 4 C. sugar
- 3 C. whipping cream
- 2 Tbsp. vanilla
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 C. sweentened condensed milk
- 1 cube butter

Step 1
Place cream in double boiler to heat. Dissolve sugar and syrup together and boil until really dissolved. Then add cream 1 tablespoon at a time stirring constantly. When cream is mostly used add condensed milk to double boiler to heat. When heated, add as you did the cream. Then add one cube butter and cook to 260 or until a hard ball stage stirring continuously.
Take from heat add vanilla and nuts (opt) aand pour in a well buttered pan. Let stand 2 to 3 hours or over night Cut and wrap in seran wrap.
