Snickerdoodle Cookie Bars

Ingredients

• 1 cup shortening
• 1 1/2 cup sugar
• 3 eggs
• 1/4 cup sour cream
• 2 cups flour
• 1 tsp baking soda
• 1 tsp baking powder
• 1 tsp cream of tartar
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 1/3 cup sugar
• 1 Tbsp cinnamon

Preparation

Step 1

1. Preheat oven to 350
2. Cream shortening and sugar
3. Add eggs, one of a time, scraping down the bowl between eggs.
4. Mix in sour cream
5. Combine flour, baking soda, baking powder, cream of tartar, and salt.
6. Mix in shortening/sugar mixture.
7. In a separate, small bowl, combine sugar and cinnamon.
8. Sprinkle half the cinnamon sugar mix into a 9 X 13 pan sprayed with Pam.
9. Spread batter on top
10. Top with remaining sugar mixture
11. Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes.
