HAMBURGER PIE

NOTE:
1/2 can of soup goes in the meat mixture, the other 1/2 goes on top.
You can also put the other half of the soup and 1/4 to 1/2 cup of cheese in with the potatoes when mashing instead of milk and margarine.

Preparation
Step 1
Combine in a large bowl--hamburger, egg, cracker crumbs, onion, 1/2 can soup, parley, salt and pepper.
Put this mixture into a baking dish.
Top with a nice layer of mashed potatoes. Then spread the rest of the cream of mushroom soup on top of the potatoes, top with shredded cheese.
Bake in hot oven (350° F.) until the cheese melts or if you want the cheese to brown, put under broiler for a few minutes. Watch carefully as cheese will burn in a hurry.
