Ingredients
- Icing:
- 1 Cup butter, softened
- 1/2 Cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/2 tsp. salt (KOSHER-STYLE FLAKE SALT)
- 1 tsp. ALMOND EXTRACT
- 1/2 tsp. VANILLA EXTRACT
- 1-1/2 Cups all-purpose flour
- 2 Cups powdered sugar
- 5 drops green food coloring
- 2-3 TB. water
- sprinkles, jimmies and candies for decorating

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 400°. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar. Mix in the egg, salt and EXTRACTS. Blend in the flour.
In a small mixing bowl, combine the powdered sugar and green food coloring. Add water, 1 TB. at a time, and mix well, until the icing becomes somewhat runny. Spread wax paper or aluminum foil under the wire cooling racks. Dip individual cookies into the icing. Place on the wire racks and sprinkle with decorations before the icing dries. Let dry completely. Store cookies in a covered container.
