  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/3 c. butter or margarine, melted
  • 1 c. light corn syrup
  • 1 c. shelled pecan halves
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 9 " pie shell

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a mixing bowl, beat eggs lightly. Stir in sugar and salt until dissolved. Stir in corn syrup and melted butter or margarine. Mix thoroughly. Stir in pecan halves and vanilla, making sure to distribute the pecans throughout. Fill the pie shell and bake 45-55 min., or until a knife inserted in the center of the pie comes out clean. Serve warm or cold. (Store in refrigerator.)
