Ritz Cracker Dessert

Ingredients

• 1 1/2 c ritz crackers, crushed ( 1 1/2 sleeves)
• 1 stick butter, softened
• 2 egg whites
• 1/8 t salt
• 1/4 t cream of tartar
• 1/2 c sugar
• 1 can pie filling
• cool whip
• chopped nuts, optl.

Preparation

Step 1

Mix crackers & butter. Pat into 9 x 13 pan. Beat together egg, salt & tartar. Gradually add in sugar. Spread over cracker bake 350* 20-25 min. Cool completely. Spread on pie filling, cover with cool whip and sprinkle with nuts.
