Ingredients
- 1 ( 3 -5 lb.) Chicken
- 3 1/2 cups chicken broth
- 1 1/2 Qt. Water
- 1/2 cup flour (or Wundra)
- 2 tsp. Salt
- 1/2 tsp. onion salt or to taste
- 1 Small Onion
- 1/2 tsp. celery salt
- 1 Carrot
- Dash of pepper
- 1 Stalk Celery

Step 1
Place chicken in a large pot and add next 5 ingredients. Simmer, covered, until tender. Cool chicken and debone.
Combine flour, onion salt, celery salt and pepper with ½ cup chicken broth. Mix until smooth. Heat 3 cups chicken broth to boiling. Add flour mixture, beating with wire whip. Cook over medium heat, stirring until mixture is thickened. You may want to add some instant chicken bouillon for more flavor. Add chicken and blend well.
Line an 8 x 12 inch pan with pastry (Pillsbury Pie Crust). Fill with chicken mixture. Cover with pastry. Seal well and flute edges. Make several slits for steam to escape.
Bake @ 400 degrees for about 45 minutes.
When pie is cool, wrap & freeze, or serve hot. Remaining broth may be frozen or used to make gravy to serve with pie.
