Ingredients

  • 1 package fresh cranberries, washed and drained
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 apples, finely chopped, optional
  • 2 cups sugar

Preparation

Step 1

Put cranberries, apples and water in pan; cook for 8 to 10 minutes, or until soft.

Put cooked mixture through a colander to separate skins from mixture.

Put mixture back in pan, add sugar, boil until thick. Stir carefully so that mixture does not stick to pan.

Pour cooked mixture into a dish and let cool. They are better if left to cool overnight.
