Chocolate chip brownies- Mom

Ingredients

• 2 1/4 cup flour
• 1 tsp baking soda
• 1 tsp salt
• 1 cup butter softened
• 3/4 cup sugar
• 3/4 cup brown sugar firmly packed
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 2 eggs
• 1 12 oz. pkg. chocolate chips
• nuts (if desired)

Preparation

Step 1

oven at 375 deg,
in a small bowl combine flour, baking soda & salt; set aside
in a large bowl, cream butter, sugar & brown sugar & vanilla, beat until smooth
beat in eggs
gradually add flour mixture, mix well
stir in chips & nuts, if desired
spread in greased 15 x 10 x 1 inch baking pan
bake for 20 min., cool and cut into squares
