Ingredients
- 1 cup butter
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 2 tsp. water
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 2 cups flour
- 1 cup ground nuts (almonds or pecans)

Preparation
Step 1
cream butter and sugar.
add water and vanilla.
blend in flour and nuts.
chill 4 hours.
shape into balls and flatten.
bake on ungreased cookie sheets at 325 degrees for 20 minutes.
cool and roll in powdered sugar.
