This is a focaccia topped w/ raisins marinated in sweet wine. A celebration of the grape harvest. Very lovely bread.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups water
  • 6 Tb olive oil
  • 6 Tb light brown sugar
  • 7 cups flour
  • 1 Tb salt
  • 2 Tb yeast

Preparation

Step 1

Put ingredients in bread machine on dough cycle. Turn out dough & divide into 6 pieces. Pat one picec of dough flat. Sprinkle w/ raisins marinated in sweet wine. Top w/ 2nd pieced of dough & seal. Let rest for 30 min. Dimple top w/ fingers & sprinkle w/ sugar. Bake in steamed oven at 400 degrees for 45 min.
