Toothbrush replacement recommendations
By Hklbrries
Dear Readers: How long has it been since you've changed your toothbrush? What about if you've had a cold or the flu?
Shoud you change it when you feel better? The American Dental Association (www.ada.org) says yes, and here are some other suggestions.
Replace your toothbrush at least every three to four months. If you've been ill, the ADA says that would be a good time to change out your toothbrush as well.
Rinse your toothbrush thoroughly with tap water, and let it air-dry after each use.
Don't store your toothbrush for a long period wrapped in a sealed container.
Sharing toothbrushes with someone else is not a good idea. Duh! Yuck, and double yuck!
