Q: Why doesn't the caramel stick to the apples when I'm making caramel apples for my family?

A: First of all, make sure the apples are washed and thoroughly dried before dipping. Then, heat the caramel just until it's melted and smooth. If the caramel slips off the apple, it may be too hot. Just let it cool and thicken for a few minutes, then try again.
