Ingredients
- 5 or 6 large apples or 8 or 9'small, chunked
- 2 t cinnamon & 5 T sugar
- 3 C sifted flour
- 2 C sugar
- 1 C oil
- 4 eggs
- 1/4 C orange juice ( or squeeze juice from 1 orange)
- 3 t baking powder
- 2 1/2 t vanilla
- 1 t salt

Preparation
Step 1
Sprinkle 2 t cinnamon & 5 T sugar over chunked apples & set aside.
In a large bowl combine all other ingredients.
Beat until smooth.
Pour 1/2 batter in tube pan; arrange 1/2 apples over poured batter.
Pour remaining batter; arrange remaining apples over poured batter.
Bake at 350* for 1 1/2 hours.
