Caramelized Onions

The caramelized onions come out a light tan color and don't have the body to serve beside steak, for example. They do have nice flavor and could used as a condiment at dinner

Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp butter
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
- 3 large onions, sliced approximately 1/4 inch thick
- 1 pinch baking soda
- 2 tsp balsamic vinegar
- 2 tsp brown sugar
- salt, to taste

Preparation
Step 1
Add butter, oil, and sliced onions to the pressure cooker. Sprinkle the baking
soda over the onions. Cook at 15 psi/high pressure setting for 50 minutes, with
natural release.
Add vinegar, brown sugar, and/or salt if desired.
