Ingredients
- 1 qt. milk (1 use 6 c.)
- 2 c. rice (uncooked)
- 3 Tbsp. butter
- 1 egg
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 cinnamon stick
- raisins

Preparation
Step 1
Heat milk in double-boiler until boiling. Add rice (about 1/2 hour)
1 egg separated-mix yolk w/ 1/2 c. sugar
1 Tbsp cornstarch. Beat egg white until fluffy. Add to egg yolk and egg and cornstarch mix. Add this mix to rice and milk. Boil further until thick. Add 1 tsp. vanilla, 1/2 cinnamon stick, and raisins.
