Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 cups brown sugar (packed)
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp baking soda
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 cups quick cooking oats
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped nuts

Preparation

Step 1

Cream peanut butter, butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla thoroughly.

Combine flour, soda and salt & stir well to blend. Add to creamed mixture, mixing well. Stir in oats and nuts.

Shape dough into rolls about two inches in diameter & wrap in waxed paper. Chill for several hours until firm.

Slice with a sharp knife to 1/8 inch thickness.

Back at 350 for 15 minutes.
