Ingredients
- 1 lb. hot sausage
- 2- 8oz. packages of cream cheese, softened
- 1 can of green chili and tomatoes, drained
- 1 bag of tortilla chops

Preparation
Step 1
In a medium skillet, crumble and brown the sausage. Cook sausage completely and drain the grease. Add the softened, room temperature cream cheese and the drained can of chili/tomatoes. Mix thoroughly with a large spoon. Transfer to a serving dish and place on a platter. Surround the serving dish with the tortilla chips and enjoy. The dip is best served warm. It can also be made ahead of time and refrigerated. Be sure to warm it before serving.
Can also use sweet sausage.
