Ingredients

  • 1/2 C oleo
  • 3/4 C buttermilk
  • 1 C whole wheat flour
  • 1 C white flour
  • 2 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp cream of tartar
  • 1/2 C sugar

Preparation

Step 1

Mix together and roll out to about 3/4 inch thick

Cut and bake at 350 for 20 min when brown

Cut in half; return to oven and toast - 225 - 250 for 3 hours
