Family Favorite Brownies

Ingredients

• *Note - Directions are given for a 13 X 9 inch pan. directions in ( ) are for an 11 X 15 pan.
• 3/4 C (1 1/8) powdered cocoa
• 1/2 tsp (3/4) baking soda
• 2/3 C (1)vegetable oil DIVIDED
• 1/2 C (3/4) boiling water
• 2 C (3) sugar
• 2 (3) eggs
• 1 1/2 C (2) flour
• 1 (1 1/2)tsp vanilla
• 1/4 tsp (3/8) salt

Preparation

Step 1

1. Stir together cocoa, soda and blend in 1/3 C (1/2 C) of the oil
2. Add boiling water and mix until thick
3. Add sugar, eggs and rest of the oil until smooth
4. Add flour, vanilla, salt and mix
5. Bake at in a greased pan at 350 for 35 - 40 min.
