Pound Cake

Ingredients

• 1/2 lb butter
• 1/2 cup crisco
• --Cream with 3 cups sugar
• 5 eggs
• 3 cups flour
• 1/2 tsp baking powder
• 1 c. milk
• dash of salt
• 1 tsp almond extract
• 1 tsp sherry

Preparation

Step 1

Beat together until very creamy. Prepare tube pan with butter and flour.

Start in cold oven and bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hours.
