Dog Biscuits

Easy to make and very good for puppies! Your babies will love you.

Ingredients

• Glaze:
• 3 med. carrots
• 1 cup applesauce or pumpkin
• 2 eggs
• 2 tsp baking powder
• 1/4 cup peanut butter
• 2 cups oats ( run through food processor for two pulses)
• 2 cups brown rice flour or whole wheat, may need more
• 1 egg
• 1 tblsp hot water
• 1 tsp beef bullion

Preparation

Step 1

Pule the oats for 1-2 times to break up. Set aside. In the food processor add cut up carrots and purée. Now add the applesauce, baking powder, eggs, and peanut butter. Mix well. Now add the flours and make a dough. You may need to add more flour on the cutting board. Turn out dough and roll out 1/2 inch thick. Use dog biscuit cutter or cut into finger size pieces. Put onto 3 cookie sheets. Mix together the hot water and beef or chicken base till blended then add the egg and mix well. Brush the tops of the biscuits with this mixture.
Bake @350* for 15-20 minutes, rotating halfway through. Now decrees heat to 175* and leave themin the oven to get crispy, I find this gets any excess moisture out. Biscuits are done when they are firm and solid.
