Ingredients
- Filling:
- 4 cans chick peas
- 1/2 jar of honey (one cup?)
- 1 cup sugar
- few shakes of cinnamon to taste
- Juice and zest from 1/2 orange
- Dough:
- 4-5 cups of flour (about 2 pounds)
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 4-5 Tbsp sugar (1 per cup of flour)
- Pinch of salt
- Enough water to mix

Preparation
Step 1
Filling:
Mix all filling ingredients together.
Dough:
Place 4-5 cups of flour (about 2 pounds) in bowl. Make well in flour. Add--2 eggs
1/2 cup vegetable oil
4-5 Tbsp sugar
Pinch of salt
Enough water to mix
Knead. Let rest 30 minutes. Roll out very thin. Cut in 3" rounds. Fill with 1 Tbsp of filling. Wet edges on one half with water, fold over and seal. Pinch seal with fork. Pierce top with pin about six times. Deep fry in corn oil until golden brown. Drain on paper towel. Sprinkle with granulated sugar.
