Ingredients

  • 1 tub (175g) Balkan-style plain yogurt
  • 4 tsp chopped fresh oregano
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2 tsp grated lemon rind
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp each salt and pepper
  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts, or 8 thighs
  • lemon wedges

Preparation

Step 1

In large bowl, whisk together yogurt, oregano, oil, lemon rind and juice, garlic, salt and pepper. Add chicken, turning to coat. Cover and refrigerate for 4 hours, turning occasionally.

Place chicken on greased grill over medium heat; brush with any remaining marinade. Close lid and grill, turning once, until golden brown, grill marked and breasts are no longer pink inside or until juices run clear when thighs are pierced, about 12 minutes. Serve with lemon.
