Spaghetti and Meatballs

Ingredients
- 3/4 lb ground turkey breast
- 3/4 lb lean ground beef
- 1 28-oz Fire Roasted Crushed tomatoes
- 12 ounces whole wheat spaghetti
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup bread crumbs
- 1/2 cup chopped parsley
- 1 onion, minced
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 T olive oil

Preparation
Step 1
Mix the meat, egg, bread crumbs, parsley, half of the onion and garlic, and the salt and pepper. Form into golf balls.
Heat half of the olive oil in a large nonstick skillet and cook the meatballs until well browned. Set aside.
Heat the remaining oil in a saucepan and cook the remaining onion and garlic until translucent. Add tomatoes and bring to a simmer. Add the meatballs into the sauce and cook for 15-20 minutes.
Cook the pasta. Top with meatballs and sauce, garnish with parsley.
