Ingredients

  • 1 lb bulk Italian sausage (recommends Bob Evans hot)
  • 1 green pepper
  • 1 onion
  • 1 can all beans - 1 lb
  • kidney, lima, butter beans, green beans, black beans, pork n beans, chick peas
  • Should use total 7-8 cans of variety
  • 1 small can tomato paste
  • 1 can water
  • 1/4-1/2 c. brown sugar
  • salt and pepper
  • 1/2 jar mild salsa
  • Cheddar cheese

Preparation

Step 1

Saute sausage and add pepper and onions.

Mix all ingredients into slow cooker. Cook for 4 hours. Top with cheddar cheese
