Ingredients
- cured uncooked ham
- can of pineapple rings
- jar of Marishino cherries
- a cup of pineapple juice
- whole cloves,
- tooth picks
- Rum
- brown sugar
- cinnamon
- coke.

Preparation
Step 1
Run the smoker up to 300 - 325°
Prepare the ham by scoring a diamond pattern on the outside stud the ham in the X's of the diamond with the cloves attach the pineapple rings to the outside with tooth picks and put a cherry in the middle of each ring. Place the ham cut side down shank end up on the rack.
Mix the brown sugar,coke, pineapple juice, juice from the pineapple rings, and the juice from the cherries along with the rum and 1/2 tsp of cinnamon in a sauce pan reduce by 1/2 and use it to baste the ham during the last hour about every 15 min. When the ham hits 160° 1/2 way between the bone and the outside in the thickest part remove it and tent with foil allow to rest 30 min prior to carving.
